    Measures of Effective Teaching: Observation. In this seven-minute video produced by the Teaching Channel a Hillsborough Co., Fla., teacher explains how he improved his practice with feedback from classroom observations.

    Teachers Talk about Video Feedback. In this four-minute video teachers from Hillsborough Co., Fla., explain the benefits of recording themselves while teaching as part of the MET Extension project, an offshoot of the MET project’s study of classroom observations that produced thousands of videos for use in teacher professional development.

  • Briefing on MET Project Findings to U.S. House. In this five-minute video MET project co-director Steve Cantrell summarizes the major implications of MET project research for the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education. A copy of the written testimony also is available.
  • Multiple Measures of Effective Teaching. This six-minute video produced by the Teaching Channel features teachers from three MET project districts explaining the benefits of feedback and evaluation based on multiple measures of teaching.
